Biotransformation (previously known as detoxification) is taking the body and putting it through a short period of cleansing. This cleansing is designed to act as a reset and replenish the body with the essential food, nutrients, and vitamins it needs to reduce inflammation for optimal function. Completing biotransformation is not hard, but at first it does take a little bit of time to get used to. The biotransformation comes with a detailed book with clear instructions on what to eat and what to avoid. The foods to avoid are there to provide guidance so your body receives the maximum benefits. For the first three days, the most common comment patients have is a simple headache. This is simply due to the caffeine withdrawal the body is going through. After these first three days, your body will start to change and suddenly you will be full of energy and you’ll notice things like faster thinking and reaction times. The inflammation begins to reduce and not only do you feel amazing on the outside but on the inside as well. For some, they do not realize how much inflammation they truly carry around until they complete the biotransformation. It is a truly eyeopening experience and once you feel the full effects of the biotransformation, you’ll be asking yourself when you can do it again! Dr. Alexander Jimenez and his staff regularly practice biotransformation as it is recommended to be completed twice a year. The main reason the staff participates in biotransformations is not only for the health benefits, but so they understand what the patients go through. At Injury Medical Clinic, our patients are not alone. We create a team that you can trust, depend on, and look to for guidance.  -Kenna Vaughn, Senior Health Coach
[00:00:16] Name is Fred Form, and I’m a club traveling basketball coach here in El Paso.
[00:00:20] Well, the detox, it was a little bit taxing. Getting used to it. But after a couple of days, it started working out for me. It’s a combination of drops and capsules, tablets to sort of get yourself going and you just basically cleanse your body, get ready, go and start getting life healthy.
[00:00:40] You start taking out all the processed foods that you normally eat and you start going more natural and more and more clean. I always compared to if you’ve got a car, you want to sit up here. Most people just go get the cheapest stuff or unleaded but if you want to actually get it clean and take care of your car, you want to go to Supreme Supreme, stuff like that. It’s almost like put a supreme in your body. Now you start to clean out all that gunk that’s in it.
[00:01:06] And that’s exactly where to start to do it. But it is one of those things where it started. You can see it start seeing a difference to performance. Like I said, the energy levels started to rise because I do basketball on a regular basis with kids.
[00:01:22] I’m able to just run back to forth building a little kid alone. OK. You keeping up with this type of thing? Just the energy and everyday performance.
[00:01:32] Your whole outlook, emotion, outlook to a degree change. You know how you might be having a day when you don’t really want to do anything more is cloudy outside. Well, by taking these changes and going on inside your body, it’s almost like it cleanses that part of the body as well, the emotion and the spirit, whatever you want to call it, to where you want to get out and go, even when you don’t want to. Are you sit up and say, well, let me go ahead and get out there and your day goes from being a negative to a positive. And that’s exactly how you start to feel when you start doing this thing. Everyone knows things to where if you’re looking to make a change, you just need something to get you going. This would be one or perfect avenues to get you there because this gets you going before you know it. Two weeks off, I’m like, well, I don’t want to go back because I like the way I feel and everything.
[00:02:21] Like I say, emotionally and physically. So let me just keep building on it. I’m not gonna lie. You’re going to have cravings like I love popcorn. I love cookies sometimes cakes, sweets. But I try to stay away from it because I know it’s not healthy for me. So instead of doing that, I’ll substitute that with a piece of fruit. You’re so used to… your body is so used to having those things. So you have to push through this. It’s hard. It is. And I’m not gonna say it’s gonna be easy. It’s not a cakewalk. Once you get through it and once you start to see the benefits of it, you’re not going to want to go back. If you’re in a certain position in life where you’ve put on weight, you’ve done this other you didn’t get there overnight.
[00:03:07] So it’s a process. So with that process, it’s the same process in getting help. So you have to just keep working.
